Our story

Three generations. One family. Since 1946.

Located in South Central Kentucky, Hagan & Stone began operation in 1946 serving the merchant trade needs of building supplies, farm supplies, and contractors in a sixty-mile radius of Tompkinsville, Kentucky. The company was fortunate, and due to the diligent effort of both the Hagan and Stone families, the business prospered.

    Founded

    Hagan & Stone begins operation in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, serving building supplies, farm supplies, and contractors within a sixty-mile radius.

  2. 1976

    Incorporated

    The company is incorporated as Hagan & Stone Wholesale, Inc. with the Hagan and Stone families as equal partners.

  3. 1983

    Loss of Mr. Stone

    Mr. Stone passes away unexpectedly on November 11, 1983.

  4. 1988

    Hagan family acquisition

    On February 9, 1988, the Hagan family purchases the assets of all allied corporations.

  5. 2026

    Rebranded

    On June 1st, 2026, the company officially changes its name to Hagan & Stone Co LLC.
